Born and raised in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, Engineering by Houghton President, Daniel, never considered being anything but an Engineer.
Daniel moved to Saint John, NB shortly after graduating from UNB Fredericton, spending four years as a consultant before becoming the General Manager of a heavy civil construction company where he has spent 11 years honing his skills in Construction and Project Management.
With three young children at home, Daniel aspires to build a green and sustainable Atlantic Canada for them to enjoy for years to come.

Jacob is a professional engineer and project manager, who has over 10 years’ experience in design, management, and construction of civil and municipal engineering projects.
He has established himself as a strong leader who can amplify the strengths of his project team members to produce the best possible result at each stage of a project.
He manages projects with a philosophy that communication is critical, all obstacles can be overcome with ingenuity and innovation, and clients’ goals are paramount
Joshua is a recent Chemical Engineering graduate from the
University of New Brunswick, equipped with a strong foundation in theoretical principles, practical applications, and research methodologies within the field. With a passion for problem-solving and a keen interest in sustainable technologies, Joshua is eager to embark on a professional journey where he can contribute to innovative projects and make a positive impact in the industry.
Throughout his academic career, Joshua has gained comprehensive knowledge in areas such as process design,
thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and reaction engineering. Having successfully completed numerous projects, both individually and as part of collaborative teams, Joshua has sharpened his analytical, technical, and communication skills along the way. Joshua’s ability to approach challenges with a methodical mindset, attention to detail, and a focus on safety ensures that he can contribute to efficient and reliable solutions.
